On-site Service Projects

Building on the success of last year’s first on-site service project, FFA members will have the opportunity to serve on the Expo floor again.

FFA members can complete a service project right on the expo floor! This year, in collaboration with the Damar Foundation, members will be making sensory bottles, a helpful way for individuals of all ages to relax during times of anxiety or overstimulation. The sensory bottles will be given to individuals with developmental and behavioral challenges.

Evening Service Activity

Building on the success of the on-site service project on the expo floor, we have extended the opportunity for members to serve the Damar Foundation into the evening. Join FFA members in assembling 500 fidget bags. Items in the bags will support self-regulation and increase focus in individuals of all ages. The evening service activity will be limited to the first 200 participants. Check out the convention student workshop schedule for more information on dates and locations.

National Days of Service Projects

Help us multiply our impact by putting your leadership into action this October as part of this annual event! Host a service event in your community and share your impacts, pictures, and videos. Your chapter will be highlighted in an interactive map that will inspire others to serve in their communities.

The FFA National Days of Service Toolkit has all you need to Investigate, Plan, Serve and Evaluate your service project. The toolkit also includes service action plan templates for projects in the four focus areas: community safety; hunger, health and nutrition; environmental responsibility; and community engagement.

Chapters are encouraged to apply for an FFA Day of Service Mini-Grant to support service events as part of FFA National Days of Service in October.
