Event Details
We are often asked to work in increasingly diverse classrooms in agricultural education. But how can agriculture teachers effectively include students with special needs when they are required to work with so many different types of learners in so many different environments? This workshop will cover basic information about the different types of disabilities, your legal responsibilities as a teacher, differences between Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans, and ways to modify your classroom activities to meet the needs of these learners.
