Can’t make it to Indianapolis? No problem. With FFA Live!, you can bring the excitement, learning, and inspiration of the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo to your students.

FFA Live! is a daily gavel-to-gavel (and then some) streaming broadcast of activities at the 98th National FFA Convention & Expo. Every General Session will be live-streamed. Finals presentations for LDE events will be carried live too! Plus, you can watch the semi-finals and finals of the talent competition and the Band and Chorus concerts. For the first time, you can watch members present their work on the Student Showcase Stage.
We know we can’t bring every FFA member to the national convention, but we believe we can provide opportunities for every member to have a convention experience through FFA Live!
Here are a few ways you can use FFA Live! and our other convention channels to help your FFA members have a virtual National FFA Convention experience.
INSPIRE
While watching General Sessions and National Officer Retiring Addresses is inspiring, sometimes members are even more motivated by seeing others just like themselves achieving nationally. In addition to seeing members and chapters recognized on-stage, FFA Live! will feature backstage interviews with CDE, LDE and Chapter Award winners. Maybe some will share their preparation secrets! You can also watch CDE/LDE and Agriscience participants talk about their projects on the Student Showcase Stage.
Seeing other members your students can relate to can inspire your members to get involved in a CDE or LDE event, put more effort into their SAE or even run for chapter office.

educate
FFA Live! is designed to extend the convention learning experience beyond Indianapolis, directly into your classroom. Here are a few ways you can use FFA Live! as an educational tool.
- Use sessions and interviews to spark conversations on leadership, teamwork and agricultural issues.
- Explore FFA connections to careers through segments and interviews that explore various career and leadership development events (CDEs/LDEs), SAEs and careers.
- Let students see peers from across the nation achieving at the highest level and learn what it took for them to get there.
- Have your class participate in the Be Kind to Your Mind virtual workshop with Jason Wetzler. Download the worksheets.
There are additional ideas on page 17 of the Convention Implementation Guide.

Connect Classroom instruction and FFA to Career Success
Help your students explore FFA connections to careers through segments and interviews that dive deep into various career and leadership development events (CDEs/LDEs), SAEs and careers. Several segments will demonstrate how a CDE or LDE can lead to an SAE, an SAE can lead to valuable experience, awards and recognition, and how that FFA experience can lead to related careers. It’s a great resource to help tie the entire FFA experience into lifelong success for your students.
